Hartle provided all HVAC services to this 204 bedroom hotel. This included full air conditioning; hot and cold water services served via a combined heat and power unit, which generates electricity and thermal energy in a single, integrated system; as well as supplying gas fired water heaters, ventilation, a battery management system (BMS) and above ground drainage.
The scheme was a modular build in collaboration with CIMC. Modular construction is a process in which a building is constructed off-site in a number of different modules, under controlled plant conditions, using the same materials and design, to the same codes to conventional buildings, but in a more time efficient manner. Then, they are fitted together onsite. Modular construction has many forms including panelised systems, pre-cast elements and volumetric systems.
