Jaguar Land Rover called upon Hartle during the design and construction of its £50 million new Body in White building. The 60,000m² building comprises mainly production facilities with associated delivery areas, offices and staff amenities, such as showers and lockers.
Hartle designed and installed building mechanical services installations consisting of a BMS control system package; high velocity air displacement heating, where conditioned outdoor air is supplied at a low velocity; air conditioning; supply and extraction ventilation systems; 6 bar and 12 bar compressed air systems with compressor house and control systems, to compress air to desired outlet pressure; cooling water systems serving ABB industrial welding robots; public health services; and above ground drainage.
Project completed on time and within client budget.
